Tile – Caltagirone 2

The tile faithfully recalls one of the 142 decorations present in the famous Scala S. Maria del Monte in Caltagirone.

All our tiles are made by hand and have a depth greater than the normal tiles. The shape and the surface are “not perfect”, their own diversity and uniqueness is the key feature. The famous tiles from Caltagirone faithfully reproduce patterns of aristocratic villas and the characteristic steps of “Santa Maria del Monte”.
